Typing Software for Beginners

Learning to Keyboard originally began as a project for a science fair held at my school. My project's goal was to create a successful typing program that allows the user to learn at their own pace. At the fair, I received honorable mention. The main criticism was the lack of use of the scientific method.

Los Angeles County Science Fair

Afterwards, I entered the L.A. County Science Fair. I further improved the program, using the feedback I collected from my users. I also utilized the scientific method. As my friends and family members used my program, their daily progress was recorded to measure my program's effectiveness. At the science fair, the judges awarded me honorable mention in the Computer Science category, various prizes, and the Smedley Award (the highest award at the fair) for my project's creativity.
